Refund Policy
Last Updated: February 28, 2026
Thank you for choosing SocialShot. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for subscriptions and credit-based purchases.
By subscribing to SocialShot, you agree to the terms below.
1. Subscription Payments
SocialShot operates on a subscription-based model with monthly or yearly billing.
All subscription payments are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
2. Credits
Credits are allocated monthly based on your selected plan.
- Credits reset at the end of each billing cycle.
- Unused credits do not roll over unless explicitly stated.
- Credits cannot be transferred, exchanged, or converted to cash.
Because credits are consumed instantly upon generation, used credits are non-refundable.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted in limited cases, including:
- Duplicate charges
- Billing errors
- Technical issues that prevented access to the service
- Unauthorized transactions (subject to review)
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge date.
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Yearly Plans
For yearly subscriptions, refunds may be considered within 7 days of purchase only if:
- Less than 20% of monthly credits have been used
- No excessive generation activity has occurred
After this period, yearly subscriptions are non-refundable.
5. Failed AI Output
AI-generated results may vary in style, creativity, and accuracy. Dissatisfaction with AI output does not qualify for a refund.
We encourage users to regenerate or adjust prompts before requesting support.
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without contacting support first may result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Permanent account termination
We encourage users to contact support to resolve billing issues quickly.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings.
Cancellation prevents future charges but does not trigger an automatic refund for the current billing cycle.
